The buildingSMART International Awards Program is Open

London, (March 15, 2021) – buildingSMART International (bSI) is delighted to announce that the annual Awards Program is open. Registration opens on 15th March 2021.

Since its launch, the buildingSMART Awards Program has continued to grow with record numbers in 2020. With 111 submissions and 16 category winners, there is continued optimism that the program will once again be well-received.

Aidan Mercer, Marking Director, buildingSMART International said “the Awards Program is quite unique. With a broad jury panel and strict judging criteria, only projects that demonstrate openBIM principles become finalists and then eventually winners are selected. It is unique in the rigour we put in to ensure the highest quality projects make it through as finalists. I’m delighted with the continued growth and professionalisation of the program and look forward to another successful year in 2021”.

There is a small change in the categories and new roles for Chapter Liaisons. If you would like to learn more and to find out how to enter your project, you can visit the dedicated awards page here - buildingSMART Awards 2021.
