Virtual Summit Spring 2022

buildingSMART International held its fifth and final Virtual Summit in the Spring of 2022. The summit took place online, on a virtual platform Hopin, between Monday 28th March and Friday 1st of April 2022.  

The Opening Plenary heard updates from the buildingSMART International Leadership team, covering Standards, Technical, Marketing, PCERT, and UCM updates and there was also a keynote from Anna Moreno from IBIMI. Following this, keynote sessions covered ‘Bringing openBIM workflows to life’ and a whole set of keynotes devoted to Sustainability and Standards. The summit also heard updates on IFC 4.3 from project perspectives. And the final keynote sessions discussed Digital Twins.

There were 35 sessions hosted throughout the week, thank you to all 833 attendees who joined us, from over 50 countries. 94 presentations were delivered during the 1-week event by 103 different speakers.
