buildingSMART International welcomes the change of status for the Spanish and Italian Chapters
London, U.K. - March 9, 2022 - buildingSMART International welcomes the change of status for the Spanish and Italian Chapters, who are now officially confirmed as Full Chapters.
Both Chapters had previously been “Developing Chapters” and had formally submitted their application to become “Full Chapters” to the buildingSMART Board.
Richard Petrie, Chief Executive, buildingSMART International said, “the strength of our community depends in part on the strength of our Chapter network. Both Italy and Spain have demonstrated real leadership and intent in moving to Full Chapter status and we are delighted with their progress”.
Sergio Muñoz Gómez, President of the buildingSMART Spanish Chapter said, “this is an important step for buildingSMART Spain that demonstrates the consolidation of the organization and the commitment to buildingSMART.”
Anna Moreno, Chair of the buildingSMART Italian Chapter commented, "we are proud to be part of the buildingSMART community as full chapter.
